Album

Triage is the second solo album by David Baerwald, formerly of the two-man group David & David with David Ricketts. Triage was released in October 1992 on the A&M Records label, and was produced by Baerwald along with Bill Bottrell and Dan Schwartz. To date it is Baerwalds last full-length solo album. He would subsequently make significant contributions to Tuesday Night Music Club, the debut album by Sheryl Crow, and would later record with The New Folk Underground and also compose soundtrack. Often cited as. For The Got No Shotgun Hydrahead Octopus Blues, well, Baerwald is angry, to the extent he wasn't afraid to issue it as a single Recorded in 1992 when America was in the grip of grunge and introspection, Baerwald makes an effort to keep up with the times by doing a white man's Public Enemy on Nobody. Triage differs from previous work in its adoption of samples and even power tools as instrumentation. It was a triumph, winning raves from critics, but it sold very few copies. David Baerwald. Triage, 1992. A Secret Silken World, 07:42. The Got No Shotgun Hydrahead Octopus Blues, 04:26. This is an album I bought when it first came out, in 1992, and I played it to death.
